Transitional housing is supportive housing that helps individuals who have an income, but it is not yet a livable income. Transitional housing also provides women with help after a crisis. Under the individuals current conditions, she could not afford a place to live on their own.
CDHC currently has two transitional houses for women in the Dover downtown area, close to services. All women in our shelters are required to work with their Case Manager to improve their current status. These homes have rents from $350 to $600 a month. Rents include all utilities. Prices vary depending if their room is a shared or single bedroom, and if they have a shared or private bathroom.
All tenants sign and receive the “House Rules” that they must abide by while leaving in the house. For more information contact: 302-883-2655 or CDHC801@gmail.com.
